Job Overview – Vice President, Transactional Support (Fund Operations):
Take on a pivotal role with our client as a Vice President, Transactional Support (Fund Operations) in New York, NY. This hybrid position is instrumental in managing the operational and transactional aspects of private equity funds, including deal closings, credit facility activity, and capital transactions. As a key member of the Fund Operations team, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational goals.

Compensation: $170,000 – $185,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Vice President, Transactional Support (Fund Operations):

  • Transaction Coordination: Facilitate smooth transaction closings by collaborating with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Fund Operations: Oversee the operational management of funds and alternative vehicles, ensuring efficient processes.
  • Waterfall and Fee Preparation: Prepare and review waterfalls for deal realizations and quarterly management fee calculations.
  • Credit Facility Management: Manage credit facility borrowings, including forecasting and ensuring adequate capacity.
  • KPI Reporting: Develop and deliver KPI reports and portfolio metrics, emphasizing credit portfolio performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the team, ensuring accurate deliverables and promoting professional development.

Qualifications for the Vice President, Transactional Support (Fund Operations):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required (CPA designation is required).
  • Experience: 10+ years in public and private accounting, focused on private equity or closed-end funds, with expertise in transactional support and fund operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex transactions and mentor team members.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced in financial modeling, reporting tools, fund management systems, waterfall calculations, and credit facility operations.
  • Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to operational excellence.
