Atlantic Group is partnering with a leading investment firm to hire a Vice President of Fund Operations in Stamford, CT (Hybrid). This strategic leadership role is ideal for a CPA with private equity and fund accounting expertise, offering hands-on oversight of investment structuring, capital planning, valuations, and investor reporting. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, manage global fund operations, and drive efficiencies across audits, compliance, and third-party relationships.

Responsibilities as the Vice President of Fund Operations:

  • Investment Structuring: Collaborate with advisors to evaluate structures and support transaction execution.
  • Capital & Liquidity Oversight: Manage capital calls, drawdowns, and liquidity planning across funds.
  • Reporting & Valuations: Oversee asset-level reporting and lead quarterly valuation and audit processes.
  • Investor Relations: Support investor reporting, due diligence, and enhance overall client experience.
  • Global Operations: Manage cash flow and distributions across global portfolios and partner companies.
  • Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with legal, accounting, and deal teams.

Qualifications for the Vice President of Fund Operations:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Certification: CPA required.
  • Experience: 5-8 years in public accounting or private equity, with a strong background in audit, financial reporting, and transaction advisory services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, with experience in fund valuation processes and coordinating with third-party administrators.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to complex fund operations.
