Job Overview – Valuations Analyst
The Valuations Analyst is responsible for conducting valuations of various securities for investment companies, including hedge funds and BDCs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining exposure to a diverse range of investment securities and valuation methodologies.
 
Compensation: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 + bonus
Location: Bucks County, PA – Remote (One Day On-Site)

 
Responsibilities of the Valuations Analyst include:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on various securities, competitors, industry trends, and capital markets, analyzing market multiples, comparable ratios, and credit spreads.
  • Collect and meticulously document relevant data obtained through client interactions.
  • Develop, adapt, and apply financial models, including discounted cash flow, guideline market multiple, market transaction, fixed income, and option valuations.
  • Execute valuation analyses on companies and their securities across diverse industries, leveraging qualitative insights and proprietary quantitative valuation models.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of detailed client reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in presentation.

 
Qualifications of the Valuations Analyst include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 0+ years in finance, preferably valuations or security analysis a plus
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Eager to grow, to learn and to be an effective communicator
