Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Treasury Operations Associate with our client in Boston, MA. This in-office role supports private markets and open-ended funds by managing deal closings, FX settlements, loan repayments, cash flow optimization, and bank reconciliations. You will also drive treasury system enhancements, ensure SOX compliance, and implement yield strategies for uninvested capital. Ideal candidates bring strong Excel skills, hands-on treasury management system experience, and a background in private equity or financial services.

Responsibilities as the Treasury Operations Associate:

  • Deal Closings: Coordinate account setup, transaction settlement, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely execution.
  • FX & Cash Management: Process foreign exchange settlements, monitor loan repayments, and manage liquidity and yield strategies for uninvested capital.
  • Treasury Systems: Support implementation and enhancements of treasury management systems and banking portals.
  • Wire Processing: Execute and review wire transfers in accordance with firm policy for deal closings and settlements.
  • Reconciliation & Compliance: Reconcile bank statements for funds and holding companies while ensuring adherence to audit standards, controls, and SOX requirements.
  • Collaboration & Improvement: Partner with internal teams on ad hoc requests and contribute to process standardization and technology-driven efficiencies.

Qualifications for the Treasury Operations Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 2-5+ years of treasury operations, cash management, or investment management experience, ideally within private equity or broader financial services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in Tableau, SQL, treasury management systems (Hazeltree preferred), and banking portals strongly valued.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of private equity, investment management, cash flow optimization, and FX settlements.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication ability, with integrity, accountability, and a technology-driven, high-EQ mindset.
