Job Overview – Treasury Manager (Funding and Liquidity):
Join our client as a Treasury Manager in New York, NY, leading funding, liquidity management, and risk oversight across diverse investment strategies. Reporting to the Group Treasury SVP, you’ll handle liquidity forecasting, funding strategies, and financial risk, while contributing to major projects like M&A transactions and capital initiatives.

Compensation: $175,000 – $225,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Responsibilities as the Treasury Manager:

  • Liquidity Planning: Oversee liquidity forecasting and capital allocation across multiple businesses and investment strategies.
  • Financial Modeling: Prepare liquidity models with sensitivity analyses and deliver presentations to leadership to inform investment decisions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow forecasts and funding requirements, ensuring efficient capital utilization for operations, capital expenditures, and intercompany debt repayment.
  • M&A Support: Lead treasury activities related to M&A transactions and large capital projects.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Intercompany Management: Oversee intercompany transactions, loan agreements, and fund transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with terms.

Qualifications for the Treasury Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required (MBA or certifications such as CFA or CTP are preferred).
  • Experience: 7-15 years of progressive experience in Treasury roles, including exposure to investments and financial markets.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel) and treasury management systems such as Kyriba.
  • Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Strong communicator with interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders, detail-oriented, and results-driven in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility: Occasional travel may be required.
