Job Overview – Treasury Director:
Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000/year + bonus
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Treasury Director in Bergen County, NJ (Hybrid) to oversee cash management, banking relationships, credit facility compliance, and treasury operations for our client. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for a seasoned treasury professional with expertise in liquidity planning, treasury systems, and automation. You’ll manage daily cash positioning, lead treasury staff, and implement tools to drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities as the Treasury Director:
- Cash & Liquidity Management: Oversee daily cash positioning, short-term forecasting, and liquidity planning to support operational and capital needs.
- Banking & Credit Oversight: Manage banking relationships, negotiate terms, and oversee credit facility compliance and lender coordination.
- Treasury Operations: Evaluate cash management initiatives, implement process improvements, and enhance treasury efficiency.
- Policy & Controls: Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Team Leadership: Supervise treasury staff, streamline workloads, and foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- System & Support: Lead treasury system enhancements, support automation, and back up payroll processes when needed.
Qualifications for the Treasury Director:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 7-15 years of progressive treasury and cash management experience, with prior leadership responsibility and exposure to credit facilities and debt compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in treasury management systems and Microsoft Excel, with preferred experience in ERP platforms and treasury automation tools.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of treasury operations, banking structures, debt compliance, and corporate finance best practices.
