Job Overview – Treasury Analyst (Private Equity):
Take on a pivotal role as a Treasury Analyst with our private equity client in New York, NY. This hybrid position focuses on modernizing treasury operations, driving process efficiency, enhancing cash management, and advancing automation—all while utilizing your accounting expertise and project management skills.
Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Treasury Analyst:
- Disbursement Oversight: Manage accounts payable, payroll, and T&E reimbursements, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
- Transaction Execution: Prepare and process wires and transfers, maintaining detailed transaction records.
- Banking Coordination: Facilitate capital call and distribution payments, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform cash reconciliations, create journal entries, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Liquidity Management: Monitor daily cash positions and implement strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Audit Preparation: Support corporate and SOX audit preparations, ensuring readiness for regulatory, audit, and tax filings.
Qualifications for the Treasury Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3+ years in Treasury or Cash Management with accounting expertise (financial services preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Hazeltree, Peachtree/Sage 50, Concur (T&E), or Investran is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities with a focus on process automation and improvement.
