Job Overview – Tax Manager

With a team of 10 dedicated professionals, our client is committed to delivering exceptional advisory, tax, and accounting services. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to embark on a partner track with the potential to merge an existing book of business into a thriving practice.
Compensation: $105,000.00 – $130,000.00 + bonus
Location: Chester County, PA – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Tax Manager Include:
- Conducting tax preparation and review activities using ProSystem FX Tax preparation software.
- Performing tax research using the Checkpoint platform.
- Contributing to financial statement preparation, compilation, and reviews (a plus).
- Providing business consulting and advisory services.
- Effectively managing both staff and engagements.
- Playing an integral part in soliciting new business to contribute to firm growth.
Requirements of the Tax Manager Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA required.
- 5+ years of recent public accounting experience, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency in tax matters.
- Strong background in financial statement preparation, compilation, and reviews is highly desirable.
- Familiarity and proficiency with CCH ProSystem FX software applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and QuickBooks software.
