Job Overview – Tax Director
Join our client’s team as a Tax Director and be part of a dynamic environment focused on tax provision, compliance, and strategic initiatives. This role will oversee the entire department and staff.
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)
Compensation: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00/year + bonus
Responsibilities of the Tax Director include:
- Support the VP-Tax by managing tax compliance and tax provisions for our global operations.
- Supervise and develop an international tax team, offering leadership and mentorship.
- Work closely with internal accounting and finance departments to ensure precise and efficient tax operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and various stakeholders to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.
- Apply extensive tax knowledge to address and resolve complex international tax matters.
Requirements of the Tax Director include:
- 8+ years of experience in tax
- CPA and/or MST required
- Extensive knowledge of corporate tax, including federal and state tax, with a preference for expertise in international tax and M&A tax
- Proven management and leadership skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
