Job Overview – Tax Administrator (Hybrid):
Our client in Boston, MA, is seeking a Tax Administrator to join their Corporate Tax organization. This hybrid role involves processing invoices, managing tax filings, and supporting the tax team in various administrative tasks to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Tax Administrator:
- Budget Management: Process invoices, reconcile expenses with the annual budget, and track tax-related contracts.
- Document Handling: Open, sort, and scan mail into SharePoint for team access.
- Tax Liaison: Assist with inquiries from local tax authorities and follow up on tax notices.
- Management: Maintain the Tax Operations Management System on SharePoint.
- Tax Filings: Prepare LLC tax returns, international filings, and manage check requests for tax payments.
- Record Keeping: Ensure tax returns are filed timely and documented with certified receipts.
Qualifications for the Tax Administrator:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in a Corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with SharePoint is a plus).
- Skills: Excellent organizational abilities for multitasking in fast-paced environments, with strong written and verbal communication for professional interactions.
