Job Overview – Structured Finance Associate
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Structured Finance Associate in New York, NY for our client, supporting structured finance transactions, capital markets operations, treasury management, and funding activities within a fast-growing financial services environment. This opportunity will work closely with capital markets, finance, accounting, and treasury teams to manage funding operations, monitor credit facilities, and support reporting and analytics across lending portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring strong structured finance, treasury, or capital markets experience along with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Responsibilities as the Structured Finance Associate:
- Structured Finance Operations: Execute daily funding activities, borrowing transactions, and collateral management processes across multiple financing facilities.
- Treasury Management: Monitor cash positions, support liquidity management activities, and coordinate transactions with banking partners, trustees, and other financial counterparties.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Excel and data tools to analyze portfolio performance, prepare reporting packages, and support borrowing base and collateral reporting requirements.
- Process Improvement: Develop and enhance reporting workflows, automate recurring processes, and improve operational efficiency across structured finance functions.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Track portfolio performance, funding requirements, and key financial metrics to support ongoing business operations.
- Transaction Support: Assist with audits, due diligence requests, financing transactions, and related reporting activities while maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications for the Structured Finance Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in structured finance operations, capital markets, treasury, or related financial services functions is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within financial services, capital markets, treasury, or lending environments is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel, SQL, financial database, and data analysis skills are required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
