Job Overview – Senior Vice President of Operations
Compensation: $190,000 – $250,000/year + bonus
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Remote, travel required)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Vice President of Operations in Chicago, IL for our client, supporting multi-site operations, strategic growth, and financial performance across a portfolio of facilities. This executive leadership role will oversee regional operations, drive operational efficiency, and implement strategies to improve profitability, service quality, and organizational performance. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in multi-location operations, financial management, and executive leadership, with the ability to support business expansion and operational improvement.
Responsibilities as the Senior Vice President of Operations:
- Regional Leadership: Oversee regional operations leaders, establish performance expectations, and drive accountability across multiple locations.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute operational strategies to support business expansion, new location integrations, and organizational objectives.
- Financial Performance: Oversee budgets, financial planning, profitability, expense management, and key performance indicators across the portfolio.
- Operational Excellence: Evaluate operational performance, implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.
- Revenue Optimization: Develop strategies to improve occupancy, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and overall financial performance.
- Executive Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders on business planning, capital initiatives, and leadership development.
Qualifications for the Senior Vice President of Operations:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including 1+ year in a Senior Vice President or comparable executive leadership role, is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, retirement communities, or comparable multi-site operations is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong executive leadership, strategic planning, financial management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to travel extensively are required.
