Job Overview – Senior Treasury Associate:
Join our client’s team in New York City, as a Senior Treasury Associate in the Treasury Department! This hybrid role focuses on managing FX reporting, hedging, cash forecasting, and cash management. You will oversee the company’s currency exposure, process daily transactions, and produce daily reporting using your strong technical skills.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Treasury Associate:
- FX Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepare and reconcile daily FX exposure reports using Power BI.
- Trade Execution: Recommend and execute FX trades, monitor exposure, and execute interest rates derivatives and Treasuries as required.
- Discrepancy Management: Track, report, and investigate discrepancies in trades or positions.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with front and back office groups to ensure efficient risk processes.
- Communication: Communicate impact of FX trades and exposure reports to commercial teams and senior management.
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects as needed by the business and Treasury and Finance function.
Qualifications for the Senior Treasury Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Financial Management.
- Experience: 5-10 years of Treasury experience, with a focus on FX, derivatives, and hedging (experience in the Energy sector is preferred).
- Skills: Strong research, documentation, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in treasury, financial, and reporting systems.
- Attributes: Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to collaborate internally and externally.
