Job Overview – Senior Tax Manager:
Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000/year + bonus
Location: Chester, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Our client is hiring a Senior Tax Manager to join their expanding tax team in Chester, PA (Hybrid). This strategic role leads U.S. federal and international tax compliance, ASC 740 reporting, and corporate tax planning. Responsibilities include managing the full tax lifecycle, mentoring tax staff, and partnering across departments to ensure compliance and support key business initiatives. Experience with OneSource, Alteryx, and ASC 740 is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities as the Senior Tax Manager:

  • U.S. and International Compliance: Oversee preparation and filing of U.S. federal tax returns and international forms (e.g., 1120, 5471, 8858, FTC).
  • Tax Provision (ASC 740): Manage quarterly and annual tax provision processes, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT.
  • Entity-Level Reporting: Maintain taxable income, E&P, and tax basis calculations across global entities.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with evolving U.S. tax laws and monitor global tax developments.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with finance, legal, and external advisors to align compliance and support planning initiatives.
  • Management & Process Improvement: Lead and mentor the tax team while driving automation and operational efficiency.

Qualifications for the Senior Tax Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required (CPA or MST strongly preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years in U.S. federal and international tax, including ASC 740 and large company compliance, with proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of U.S. tax regulations including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and FTC rules.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in OneSource, Excel, ITC, and Alteryx, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Skills & Attributes: Analytical and organized, with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in fast-paced environments.
