Job Overview – Senior Tax Associate (Hybrid):
Take on a pivotal role with our manufacturing client in New York City as a Senior Tax Associate. In this hybrid position, you’ll lead tax compliance, preparation, and research efforts, tackling complex domestic, state, local, and international tax matters.

Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Senior Tax Associate:

  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file domestic income tax returns, manage state and local income tax compliance, and handle international tax returns.
  • Strategic Tax Management: Optimize tax positions, including Foreign Tax Credits and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Audit Support: Participate in tax audits, ensuring smooth processes and providing necessary documentation.
  • Software Utilization: Leverage OneSource and other tax preparation software to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth tax research and provide advice on various tax matters.

Qualifications for the Senior Tax Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of Public or Public/Private Tax Compliance experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in OneSource and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
