Job Overview – Senior Proposal Writer (Temporary)
Compensation: $50 – $70/hour
Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Proposal Writer (Temporary) for our client, supporting proposal management, due diligence, and investor communications within a global investment management environment. This role will manage the preparation of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other client deliverables while partnering with investment, legal, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to produce accurate, high-quality responses. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting business development or investor relations within the investment management industry, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities as the Senior Proposal Writer (Temporary):
- Proposal Management: Prepare, coordinate, and manage proposal responses, due diligence questionnaires, and other business development materials.
- Content Development: Draft, edit, and maintain proposal content while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality written communications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information, develop content, and support proposal and client deliverables.
- Documentation Management: Maintain proposal content, supporting documentation, and related materials to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve proposal workflows, content management, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications for the Senior Proposal Writer (Temporary):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience preparing proposals, RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, or related business development materials within financial services or a professional services environment is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting business development, marketing, client services, or investor communications is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with proposal management software, content management systems, CRM platforms, or related business applications is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Exceptional writing, editing, communication, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines are required.
