Job Overview – Senior Manager of Finance
Join our client's team as a Senior Manager of Finance and take the lead in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. Location: Montgomery County, PA – Hybrid Schedule
Compensation: $150,000.00 – $160,000.00 + bonus
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of Finance Include:
- Lead the financial planning and forecasting process, including budgeting, long-range planning, and variance analysis, to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, management dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities, assess investment proposals, and provide financial insights to support decision-making and drive growth.
- Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance against targets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial expertise, guidance, and support on strategic initiatives, operational projects, and business development opportunities; having up to two direct reports.
- Continuously assess and enhance financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and drive efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, maintaining the integrity and reliability of financial data and reporting.
Qualifications of the Senior Manager of Finance Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
- CPA required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of leadership and strategic impact.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and influence senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a collaborative mindset and a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
