Job Overview – Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant plays a crucial role in supporting GAAP financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and covenant reporting for a financial services company. This position involves close coordination with Finance and Compliance Leadership to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Compensation: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA – On-Site
Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant include:
- Assist in preparing financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting, including footnotes.
- Manage regulatory reporting tasks such as Sales & Use tax, local taxes, and property taxes.
- Prepare quarterly filings for the mortgage bank and maintain reporting models.
- Provide additional reporting support for state-level compliance exams.
- Collaborate on month-end closings and streamline processes for efficiency.
Qualifications of the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA license preferred.
- Financial services mortgage, banking, or insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in high-volume reporting environments.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Workiva and Workday is advantageous.
