Job Overview – Senior Financial Analyst:
Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000/year + bonus
Location: Chester, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Our client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in Chester, PA (Hybrid), to lead FP&A for key business units with a focus on manufacturing and corporate financial planning. In this role, you will manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting while partnering with commercial, operations, and corporate teams. You will leverage SAP, Business Warehouse, Tableau, and Excel to build models, drive performance insights, and support business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities as the Senior Financial Analyst:
- Business Performance & Planning: Lead monthly financial planning, forecasting, and IBP processes to deliver actionable insights on business performance.
- Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly outlooks, variance analyses, and results communications for leadership.
- Budgeting & Support: Manage annual budgeting and support strategy reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Commercial Finance & Modeling: Partner with commercial and operations teams on cost structures, product margins, ROI analysis, and investment proposals.
- Integrity & Compliance: Ensure accuracy of financial statements and adherence to corporate policies, SOX controls, and governance standards.
- Improvement & Collaboration: Drive FP&A process improvements and collaborate across teams to support business growth.
Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a technical field required.
- Experience: 3-6 years of corporate FP&A experience, with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial finance, including sales forecasting, product costing, and ROI modeling.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Business Warehouse, and Tableau.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to simplify complex data, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence leadership in a fast-paced environment.
