Compensation: $115,000 – 140,000 + bonus

Job Overview:
The Senior Finance Associate will support the Investment Fund Accounting team and will be responsible for managing and supporting a broad range of efforts, including overseeing Third Party Administrators (“TPAs”) and new fund platform product launches.

This position is with a leading global growth equity firm with more than four decades of experience providing capital and strategic support for hundreds of growth companies throughout its history.

Responsibilities:
As Senior Finance Associate , you will be responsible for the following —

  • Ensuring fund is in compliance with Limited Partnership Agreement
  • Reviewing capital call, distribution notices prepared by TPAs
  • Monitoring cash needs, including the fund line of credit facility
  • Reviewing fund performance metrics
  • Quarterly reporting: Review Financial statements, capital account statements prepared by TPAs
  • Coordinating preparation of quarterly investor updates
  • Reviewing carries and management fee calculations and coordinate sign-off
  • Supporting fundraising team and preparation of PPM, due diligence questionnaires, side letters and LPAs.
  • Responding to ongoing LP requests are addressed
  • Working with lawyers and tax to assist in setting up legal structure of investments
  • Assisting in incorporating the legal entities for the deal structure and  reviewing limited partnership agreements
  • Monitoring structures on an ongoing basis to ensure fit for purpose
  • Assisting in driving strategy within vertical on data and technology initiatives with respect to investment, fund and investor data to drive consistent reporting across products

Requirements:
To be considered for the Senior Finance Associate role, you should have 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and/or Finance required; CPA and/or Masters a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience either in private equity or public accounting 
  • Experience with PE, Credit, and/or other drawdown funds; good understanding of fund accounting and common LP/GP structures used in the industry.
  • Previous experience overseeing TPAs or working with a TPAs
