Job Overview – Senior Billing Analyst
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Location: Memphis, TN
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Billing Analyst in Memphis, TN for our client, supporting billing operations, invoice processing, revenue reporting, accounts receivable activities, and financial analysis within a fast-paced business environment. This opportunity will partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing, investigate billing discrepancies, support account reconciliations, and drive process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive billing and revenue cycle experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of improving accuracy, efficiency, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities as the Senior Billing Analyst:

• Billing Analysis: Review billing activity, perform complex calculations, and analyze invoicing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Invoice Processing: Prepare and process high-volume customer invoices while maintaining compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Data Validation: Partner with internal departments to gather, validate, and reconcile billing information prior to invoice generation.
• Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with collections support, account reconciliations, and resolution of billing-related inquiries and discrepancies.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve operational efficiency.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain billing records, prepare supporting schedules, and generate reports to support financial and operational decision-making.

Qualifications for the Senior Billing Analyst:

• Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 10+ years of billing, revenue analysis, invoicing, or related accounting experience is required, and experience supporting high-volume billing environments is strongly preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of billing operations, revenue processes, accounts receivable functions, and basic accounting principles is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience working with large datasets, formulas, reconciliations, reporting tools, and financial analysis.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
