Job Overview – Senior Auditor (Hybrid):
Join our client’s team as a Senior Auditor in Dedham, MA, where you’ll provide exceptional assurance services to construction contractor clients. This hybrid role combines managing audit engagements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with industry standards in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000/year
Location: Dedham, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Auditor:
- Engagement Management: Lead compilation, review, and audit engagements, working independently and collaboratively with a focus on construction contractor clients.
- Financial Statement Review: Prepare and review financial statements to ensure adherence to AICPA and GAAP standards.
- System Testing: Conduct in-person testing of client accounting systems, investigating discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Data Analysis: Evaluate fieldwork results against industry trends and historical client data to provide actionable insights.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all audit and review engagements comply with applicable regulations and professional standards.
Qualifications for the Senior Auditor:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years in Public Audit with a small to mid-size firm, specializing in clients within the construction sector.
- Certification: CPA certification preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities (tax expertise is a plus).
