Job Overview – Senior Associate:
Join a leading investment firm as a Senior Associate and play a vital role in supporting finance and accounting functions. Compensation: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 + bonus
Location: Boston, Massachusetts 

Responsibilities of the Senior Associate include:

  • Managing fund accounting tasks, including General Ledger maintenance and preparing fee calculations
  • Overseeing treasury activities, reconciling cash transactions, and maintaining bank statements
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring timely payments and tracking expenses
  • Assisting with expense allocation and coding
  • Supporting fund administration, including financial statements, tax compliance, and audit preparations
  • Engaging in LP relations, responding to inquiries, and maintaining documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute internal controls and ensure compliance
  • Assisting in tax compliance by preparing tax estimates, returns, and K-1s
  • Participating in materials preparation for annual meetings and responding to auditor confirmations
  • Contributing to change management processes for LP demographic information

Qualifications for the Senior Associate include:

  • Experience in fund accounting and financial operations
  • Proficiency in managing treasury activities, reconciling cash, and handling banking statements
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Strong analytical skills for expense allocation and tracking
  • Knowledge of fund administration, financial reporting, and tax compliance
  • Ability to engage effectively with LPs, respond to inquiries, and manage documentation
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and executing internal controls
  • Background in tax compliance, including preparing tax estimates and returns
