Job Overview – Senior Associate, Risk and Internal Audit (Hybrid):
Join our client in Boston, MA, as a Senior Associate of Risk and Internal Audit, where you'll help execute risk management and audit processes across business units. You'll work with control owners and external auditors, promoting a strong risk and control culture within the organization.
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Associate, Risk and Internal Audit:
- SOX Compliance: Execute internal controls assessments in line with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, coordinating with control owners and external auditors.
- Internal Audits: Assist with planning, execution, and follow-up for internal audits, including tracking remediation efforts.
- Risk Assessments: Support risk assessments across business processes, producing risk management materials for executive and board-level reporting.
- Corporate Insurance: Manage the corporate insurance program, including procurement and claims management, and prepare reports for the Audit Committee.
Qualifications for the Senior Associate, Risk and Internal Audit:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years in SOX, Risk Management, or Internal Audit, preferably within Asset Management or Financial Services.
- Skills: Familiarity with COSO principles and experience with governance, risk, and compliance tools.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
