Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Associate (Investment Operations) in Boston, MA for our client, supporting transaction execution and ongoing investment operations across private equity investments. This role focuses on managing deal-related operational workflows for acquisitions, add-ons, restructurings, and exits, while overseeing SPV activity, capital movements, reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities as the Senior Associate (Investment Operations):

  • Transaction & Deal Operations: Support operational execution for acquisitions, add-ons, restructurings, and exits, including bank setup, funding logistics, wire coordination, and cross-functional communication.
  • Deal Execution & Data Integrity: Partner with investment teams and external advisors to manage deal workflows, ensuring accurate documentation, data integrity, and timely approvals.
  • SPV & Capital Management: Execute capital calls and distributions, oversee SPV entities, and monitor cash balances and liquidity across deal structures.
  • Reporting, Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with fund administrators to support financial statements, quarterly reporting, annual audits, tax processes, and regulatory filings.
  • Custody, Payments & Oversight: Manage custody operations, process deal-related expenses, track fees, and respond to Limited Partner inquiries related to SPVs.

Qualifications for the Senior Associate (Investment Operations):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in private equity, investment operations, investment banking, transaction services, consulting, or a related investment-focused environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, SPVs, capital calls, distributions, and deal lifecycle processes.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency with strong analytical, organizational, and data management capabilities.
  • Skills & Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
