Job Overview – Senior Analyst (Private Investment Services):
Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Analyst for our client in Boston, MA. In this hybrid role, you will oversee the entire private deal lifecycle, from approval to execution and ongoing events. Leverage your expertise in private investment concepts, legal documentation analysis, and deal coordination. Use your advanced technical skills in SQL, PowerBI, and Tableau to optimize data reporting and support strategic decision-making processes.
Responsibilities as the Senior Analyst (Private Investment Services):
- Deal Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases of the private deal lifecycle, including approval, pre/post-execution, and corporate actions.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with private issuers, internal teams, and external partners for efficient deal processing.
- Documentation & Compliance: Analyze and operationalize private investment agreements such as Stock Purchase and Credit Agreements.
- Covenant & Restriction Tracking: Monitor deal covenants and position changes throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Event Coordination: Manage activities related to significant events like IPOs, corporate actions, and distributions.
- Data Reconciliation & Accuracy: Review reconciliation reports to ensure investment accuracy and maintain up-to-date records.
Qualifications for the Senior Analyst (Private Investment Services):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years managing private equity operations, including legal documentation, restriction tracking, trade execution, and corporate actions, with a focus on private fund structures.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel macros, with additional experience in private equity technology (Dynamo, EDGAR, SEC.gov, Geneva) preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities, create PowerPoint presentations, and drive continuous improvement.
