Job Overview – Senior Analyst, Financial Systems (Hybrid):
Step into an impactful role with our client as a Senior Analyst, Financial Systems based in Boston, MA. In this hybrid position, you will analyze financial processes, uncover opportunities for system enhancements, and implement forward-thinking solutions. Collaborating closely with Finance, IT, and business teams, you’ll drive system improvements, optimize workflows, and support initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Analyst, Financial Systems:
- Opportunity Identification: Analyze financial processes and systems to uncover improvement opportunities and develop optimal solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead initiatives across Finance, IT, and business teams with a global and holistic approach to business processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with end-users and IT teams, managing expectations and maintaining clear communication.
- Design & Development: Oversee the definition, design, and documentation of system solutions that are GAAP-compliant and minimize risks.
- Testing & Implementation: Coordinate testing efforts, including user acceptance testing, and ensure successful system implementations.
- Functional Support: Provide back-office support for Oracle systems (EBS, FCCS, ARCS) and TM1, addressing issues and recommending optimizations.
Qualifications for the Senior Analyst, Financial Systems:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 3+ years in a Corporate Financial Analyst role, with at least 1 year of experience in Oracle or similar systems (Cognos TM1, Hyperion, Oracle BPM, or EBS Suite).
- Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting/finance principles, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, as well as monthly close and planning processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in system design and implementation processes, with demonstrated experience in testing and functional support.
- Skills: Excels in communication, presentation, multitasking, and prioritization, effectively engaging across teams in fast-paced environments.
