Compensation: $125,000 – $130,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Join our client as a Senior Accounting Manager in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid). Oversee consolidated accounting, month-end and quarter-end close, and SEC filings while ensuring SOX compliance. Collaborate with divisional teams, auditors, and leadership to deliver accurate and timely results. This role is ideal for CPAs with extensive experience in consolidations, SEC filings, and financial systems such as OneStream, Workiva, Oracle, or SAP.

Responsibilities as the Senior Accounting Manager:

  • Close & Consolidation Oversight: Lead consolidated monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliations and reporting package reviews.
  • Cash Flow & Analysis: Oversee cash flow preparation, analyze variances, and deliver consolidated financial statement materials to stakeholders.
  • SEC Filings: Manage and review team activities supporting 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and related SEC requirements.
  • Audit & Compliance: Partner with auditors to ensure strong internal controls, accurate consolidations, and SOX compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline consolidation and documentation processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Systems & Collaboration: Work with financial systems teams and divisional stakeholders to optimize workflows and leverage emerging technologies.

Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Experience: 6+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience with expertise in consolidations and SEC reporting, and a mix of public and corporate backgrounds preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency with experience in Microsoft Office and reporting or ERP systems such as OneStream, Workiva Wdesk, Oracle, or SAP preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
