Job Overview – Senior Accounting Associate (Investment Management):
Compensation: $100,000 – $135,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accounting Associate (Investment Management) in New York, NY for our client, an opportunity supporting corporate accounting, fund oversight, audit and tax coordination, compliance reporting, and FP&A across an investment management platform. In this in-office role, you will partner closely with the CAO, Senior Controller, fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors while leveraging systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Kyriba to support financial reporting, NAV oversight, investor reporting, and firm-level treasury activities.
Responsibilities as the Senior Accounting Associate:
- Corporate Financial Reporting: Prepare and support monthly corporate and business unit financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting for executive leadership.
- Fund Administration & NAV Oversight: Review and approve third-party fund administrator records, oversee monthly and quarterly NAV packages, and support investor reporting and distributions.
- Audit & Valuation Coordination: Act as a key audit liaison by managing annual audits, coordinating with external audit and valuation firms, and reviewing financial statements.
- Tax & Compliance: Coordinate corporate and affiliate tax filings while preparing covenant, guarantee, and compliance reporting across the firm and its funds.
- FP&A, Treasury & Support: Assist with financial modeling, FP&A initiatives, invoicing, cash management, treasury activities, and accounting systems and automation projects.
Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of corporate or public accounting experience, ideally within investment management, private credit, real estate, or related asset management environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Kyriba, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and modeling workflows.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fund accounting, NAV review, audit and tax coordination, FP&A, and compliance reporting, with exposure to healthcare, senior housing, or credit preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong communication skills, a proactive work style, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
