Job Overview – Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting)
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Location: Delaware County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting) in Delaware County, PA for our client, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, IFRS accounting, and general ledger operations. This hybrid role focuses on journal entries, account reconciliations, technical accounting, and global reporting within a multinational environment. You will partner with shared services, corporate teams, and global stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting):
- Month-End Close & Accounting: Execute month-end close activities, including preparing analyses and posting journal entries related to accruals, IFRS topics, reserves, and complex accounting areas.
- Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial reporting package submissions to global stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and IFRS compliance.
- Account Reconciliations & Close Support: Partner with shared services to complete general ledger reconciliations, supporting a timely and accurate close process.
- Management Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports, schedules, and ad hoc analyses to support management, corporate teams, and key stakeholders.
- Improvement & Support: Contribute to process enhancements and system improvements while providing guidance and support to staff-level accountants.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and corporate financial reporting or financial accounting experience.
- Certification: CPA preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS required, with experience supporting complex accounting topics and financial reporting standards.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with experience managing large data sets and complex calculations, along with ERP system experience such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, with SAP and BPC preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and communication skills with a client-service mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
