Job Overview – Sales Support Representative (Hybrid):
Step into a key role with our client as a Sales Support Representative in Union, NJ. In this hybrid position, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing quotations, order acknowledgments, and technical support. Collaborating with engineering, sales, and operations teams, you will ensure timely solutions, maintain strong client relationships, and deliver world-class service.

Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000/year
Location: Union, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Sales Support Representative:

  • Customer Engagement: Provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries, quote requests, and order confirmations, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Order Processing: Manage quotes, orders, cancellations, and shipment requests using the business system while maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Customer Interaction: Exhibit a confident and helpful demeanor when working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve product-related questions and concerns.
  • Quality Assurance: Document and report customer complaints, errors, and non-conformances to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system tools daily to ensure accurate order entries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Qualifications for the Sales Support Representative:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (high school diploma or GED required).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a sales support or customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication abilities, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with experience in ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
  • Attributes: Customer-focused and prompt in responding to inquiries, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, adaptability, and a collaborative, professional, and confidential approach.
