Job Overview – Proposal Specialist:
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Proposal Specialist to join their team. The ideal Proposal Specialist will have a strong background in creating pursuit documents and proposals, particularly within the construction, contracting, and electrical industries.
Location: New Jersey, NJ
Compensation: $35 – $40/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Proposal Specialist:
- Proposal Development: Review client's Request for Proposal (RFP), extract relevant information, and collaborate with internal and external teams to gather necessary data for responses.
- Document Management: Create and customize templates to improve the efficiency and appearance of client submittals.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior management, the corporate marketing team, and other stakeholders.
- Brand Support: Provide writing and editing support for PMG’s intranet site, website, social media platforms, and corporate publications. Ensure brand alignment and consistency across all materials.
- Project Management: Participate in multiple projects and campaigns, including website updates and key communications plans for corporate initiatives.
- Promotional Marketing: Develop effective promotional strategies and campaigns for various audiences.
Qualifications for the Proposal Specialist:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry preferred.
- Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, web-based tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and graphics communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of retail payment methods, cash deposit reconciliations, bank reconciliations, store credit, gift card, and customer deposit reconciliations.
