Job Overview – Private Equity Finance Manager:
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is partnering with our client to hire a Private Equity Finance Manager in Boston, MA (Hybrid) to oversee fund accounting, reporting, and digital asset operations. In this role, you’ll manage third-party administrators, lead GAAP reporting, support fund performance analytics, and collaborate on complex investment transactions. Ideal candidates have experience with crypto markets, tokenized assets, and trading platforms, plus strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentations.
Responsibilities as the Private Equity Finance Manager:
- Financial Oversight: Manage fund administrators on quarterly US GAAP reporting and annual audit coordination.
- Tax & Legal Coordination: Partner with legal and tax teams to evaluate complex investment structures.
- Cash & Asset Operations: Oversee capital calls, distributions, and digital asset activity, including staking and trading.
- Fund Analytics: Prepare performance reports, waterfall models, and valuation summaries for leadership.
- Investor & Deal Support: Support fundraising materials, investor updates, and transaction tracking with deal teams.
- Compliance & Strategic Projects: Ensure alignment with LP agreements and contribute to initiatives with the CFO and VP of Finance.
Qualifications for the Private Equity Finance Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required (MBA preferred).
- Certification: CPA preferred.
- Experience: 6-9 years in public accounting or in-house finance roles, ideally with exposure to crypto, blockchain investments, or digital asset fund operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in fund accounting software and digital asset platforms preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Self-starter with strong project management skills, sharp attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.
