Job Overview – Private Equity Associate (Healthcare)
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring a Private Equity Associate (Healthcare) in Montgomery County, PA for our client, supporting healthcare-focused investment sourcing, transaction execution, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management activities. This role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including evaluating new investment opportunities, supporting acquisitions, monitoring portfolio companies, and contributing to value creation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory experience with healthcare industry exposure and strong analytical capabilities.
Responsibilities as the Private Equity Associate (Healthcare):
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate healthcare investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation assessments, market research, and operational due diligence.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex operating models, returns analyses, valuation models, and transaction underwriting materials.
- Transaction Execution: Support acquisitions, due diligence processes, investment committee materials, and transaction execution activities.
- Portfolio Management: Assist with portfolio company monitoring, performance analysis, strategic initiatives, and interactions with executive management teams.
- Investment Reporting: Prepare investment memoranda, valuation analyses, investor communications, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Market Research: Conduct healthcare industry research, competitive analysis, and market assessments to identify investment opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications for the Private Equity Associate (Healthcare):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Healthcare industry exposure is required, including experience evaluating healthcare services, healthcare technology, provider organizations, life sciences, or related healthcare sectors.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and investment presentation development is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced investment environment are required.
