Job Overview – Portfolio Valuation Associate:
Step into the role of Portfolio Valuation Associate with our client in Bucks County, PA. In this hybrid position, you’ll provide critical financial analysis and valuations for a variety of investments. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your financial expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Location: Bucks County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Portfolio Valuation Associate:
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on securities, industry trends, competitors, and capital markets to support accurate valuations.
- Data: Collaborate with clients to collect and document critical data for valuation analyses.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and refine financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiples, and transaction-based valuations.
- Valuation Analysis: Work alongside junior analysts, overseeing their work and conducting independent analysis to determine the fair value of illiquid securities across industries.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of valuation reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity in final deliverables.
Qualifications for the Portfolio Valuation Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (valuation and financial analysis coursework a plus).
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in building and reviewing valuation models and conducting financial analysis.
- Certifications: Progress toward CFA or ASA designation preferred.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and communication abilities, with a strong collaborative approach.
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
