Job Overview – Portfolio Analyst (Hybrid):
Become a Portfolio Analyst with our client in Boston, MA, where you’ll assist in managing and analyzing real estate assets and portfolios. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial performance and maintain data integrity for real estate investments.
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Portfolio Analyst:
- Financial Modeling: Maintain and update financial models for real estate assets and portfolios using Excel, Argus, and Yardi systems.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with Asset Management and Accounting teams to analyze key asset data and market trends.
- Appraisal Review: Review and validate quarterly third-party appraisal reports and market values.
- Reporting: Prepare and present asset reviews, financial performance reports, and variance analyses.
- Market Research: Monitor market data and trends to support valuation and investment strategies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and data accuracy improvements.
Qualifications for the Portfolio Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of Analytical experience, preferably in Real Estate or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Argus Enterprise, and knowledge of Yardi accounting systems.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with real estate documentation, valuation, and financial reporting processes.
