Job Overview – Paralegal (Hybrid):
Step into a vital role with our client's Legal and Compliance Department as a Paralegal in Greenwich, CT, where you'll play a key part in supporting private equity deals and fund matters. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in corporate law, outstanding organizational skills, and a sharp eye for detail.
Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000/year + bonus
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Paralegal:
- Global Entity Management: Assist in the formation, tracking, and dissolution of deal and fund entities.
- Regulatory Filings: Manage and track regulatory filings, including Corporate Transparency Act filings.
- KYC Documentation: Oversee KYC documentation and customer due diligence for deal and fund entities.
- Legal Billing: Track legal billing for outside counsel relationships.
Qualifications for the Paralegal:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 2-5 years as a Paralegal required, ideally within a private equity firm, corporate law group, or similar environment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of M&A and corporate law, particularly in the financial industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Technology: Proficiency with MS Office suite.
