Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring an Operations Associate for our private equity client in New York, NY. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in loan operations, trade settlements, portfolio management, and treasury functions. You will oversee trade processing, cash reconciliations, loan servicing, and operational workflows, ensuring seamless support for the firm’s direct lending and credit investment strategies.

Responsibilities as the Operations Associate:

  • Trade Processing: Manage portfolio trades, loan activity, and restructurings.
  • Reconciliations: Resolve daily cash and position discrepancies with administrators.
  • Loan Settlements: Oversee settlements, trade allocations, and compliance procedures.
  • Treasury Management: Monitor credit facilities, process wire transfers, and support treasury functions.
  • Document Review: Ensure accuracy in loan agreements, agent notices, and fund structures.
  • Process Optimization: Leverage technology to automate workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications for the Operations Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 1-6 years in operations within a credit fund, private equity firm, or direct lending environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with VPM, Geneva, Alteryx, iLevel, or similar portfolio management systems is a plus.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of loan operations, trade settlements, and cash management within private equity or credit funds.
  • Work Style: Independent, highly organized, and technology-driven, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
