Job Overview – Operations Associate (Hybrid):
Join our client’s leading team in Boston, MA, as an Operations Associate, supporting internal investor relations and portfolio operations with exceptional organizational and technical expertise. In this hybrid role, you’ll enhance operational efficiency and deliver top-tier client service to high-value investors and stakeholders.
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Operations Associate:
- Investor Support: Act as the primary point of contact for investors and internal stakeholders, ensuring professional and timely responses to inquiries.
- Capital Management: Assist with capital call processes, including generating invoices, managing collections, depositing checks, and coordinating loan activities.
- Distribution Oversight: Manage distribution notices, prepare/sign wire documents, and oversee loan program activities.
- Systems Management: Maintain operational systems, including general ledger, contact management tools, and reporting platforms, ensuring data accuracy and functionality.
- Documentation: Organize procedural guides and investor-related documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Banking Coordination: Manage banking relationships, establish and maintain accounts, ensure accurate wiring instructions, and oversee check deposits.
Qualifications for the Operations Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field required.
- Experience: 1-2 years in Operations, Investor Relations, or a Family Office within Financial Services.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in leveraging technology to optimize performance and reporting.
- Project Management: Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail.
- Skills & Attributes: Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment, strong collaboration skills, and confidentiality expertise.
