Job Overview – Operations Associate (Hedge Funds):
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring for an exciting opportunity as an Operations Associate (Hedge Funds) with our client in New York, NY. This high-impact role offers hands-on experience with ETF operations, trade reconciliation, and full trade lifecycle support across hedge fund strategies. You’ll work cross-functionally with portfolio managers, client services, and external partners to ensure accurate execution, timely settlements, and streamlined operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities as the Operations Associate (Hedge Funds):
- Trade Settlement & Booking: Reconcile trades, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate booking in the OMS.
- Cash & Account Management: Monitor daily cash flows and perform reconciliations across internal and custodial accounts.
- ETF Operations: Oversee ETF servicing processes, including confirmation, affirmation, and reconciliation.
- Client Reporting: Support client teams with timely, accurate performance reporting and data delivery.
- Exception Resolution: Track trade fails, investigate breaks, and resolve mismatches efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate on automation and workflow enhancements to boost accuracy and control.
Qualifications for the Operations Associate (Hedge Funds):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in fund operations within an asset manager, hedge fund, fund administrator, or bank, with direct exposure to ETF processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP), with Bloomberg AIM and OMS platforms experience preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of ETF servicing, trade lifecycle, and private wealth management, including WRAP account experience.
- Skills & Attributes: Analytical and deadline-driven, with strong problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative, client-focused approach to continuous process improvement.
