Job Overview – Operations Associate:
Step into the role of Operations Associate with our wealth management client in New York, NY. In this full-time role, you'll prepare paperwork, ensure document accuracy, manage client records, and streamline processes to enhance the advisor and client experience.
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Operations Associate:
- Document Preparation: Prepare paperwork for account transfers, re-registrations, and account changes.
- Custodian Coordination: Act as the primary contact for custodian forms, ensuring updates and resolving alerts.
- Account Management: Handle paperwork for account splits, closings, and new account applications.
- Accuracy Review: Review signed documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance client and advisor experiences.
Qualifications for the Operations Associate:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in Operations or Client Service within an SEC-registered investment advisor setting.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with RIA Portfolio Management, Rebalancing, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
