Job Overview – Operations Analyst (Private Equity):
Atlantic Group is hiring an Operations Analyst to join our private equity client in New York, NY. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in fund operations, capital call and distribution management, and service provider coordination. Reporting to senior management, you’ll oversee transaction processing, support marketing and compliance efforts, and deliver key internal reporting to enhance operational efficiency in private equity investments.

Compensation: $95,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Operations Analyst (Private Equity):

  • Valuation & Transactions: Assist in portfolio valuation and ensure timely processing of capital calls and distributions.
  • Vendor & Expense Management: Coordinate with sub-administrators and vendors to process fund expenses accurately.
  • Account Reconciliation: Oversee daily reconciliation of custodial and brokerage accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Manage information requests from private equity sponsors and maintain strong relationships.
  • Regulatory & Investor Reporting: Support SEC filings, investor statements, and portfolio performance analysis.
  • Data & Process Optimization: Analyze financial data and improve operational workflows for efficiency.

Qualifications for the Operations Analyst (Private Equity):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting or within fund administration, private equity, hedge funds, or related financial sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to manage large datasets; familiarity with financial reconciliation and reporting systems.
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of private equity fund operations, valuation methodologies, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
