Job Overview – Operations Accountant (Hybrid):
Join our client as an Operations Accountant (Hybrid) in Montgomery County, PA, managing financial operations, vendor payments, and cash flow. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in financial systems, accounts payable, and process optimization. You will oversee vendor billing, expense reporting, and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000/year
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Operations Accountant:

  • Vendor & Payment Management: Oversee vendor bill auditing, ensure accurate coding, and manage bi-weekly payment disbursement.
  • Expense Reporting & Compliance: Administer corporate credit card and expense reporting, ensuring policy compliance and accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable & Month-End Close: Lead AP close, manage accruals, reconciliations, and maintain the close checklist.
  • Cash Management: Handle daily cash receipts, payment reconciliations, and assist with forecasting and bank reconciliations.
  • Process Improvement & Systems: Support financial system implementation and optimize workflows for efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise the Accounting Clerk and partner with internal teams to enhance financial operations.

Qualifications for the Operations Accountant:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in accounting, preferably in financial operations, accounts payable, or cash management, with SaaS industry experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred, with expertise in AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
