Job Overview – Investor Relations Associate (Client Advisory Group):
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Drive investor engagement as an Investor Relations Associate (Client Advisory Group) with our client in New York, NY (Hybrid). Support fundraising and client servicing for a hedge fund specializing in public equities and alternative investments. Oversee due diligence, craft investor communications, manage Dynamo CRM, and coordinate events and roadshows. Ideal for candidates with hedge fund IR experience, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of the institutional investor landscape.

Responsibilities as the Investor Relations Associate:

  • Investor Management: Build and maintain knowledge of the investor universe, firm strategies, and competitive landscape.
  • Due Diligence: Manage questionnaires, on-site meetings, RFPs, and related materials.
  • Content Creation: Develop quarterly letters, annual presentations, marketing collateral, and social media content.
  • CRM Oversight: Maintain accurate investor records, meeting notes, and pipeline data in Dynamo CRM.
  • Event Support: Coordinate investor events, outreach, meeting prep, and follow-ups for roadshows.
  • Research & Compliance: Organize cap intro data, peer analysis, and performance information while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications for the Investor Relations Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
  • Experience: 3-6 years in investor relations within financial services, preferably at a hedge fund, focusing on public equities and alternative investments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using CRM systems (Dynamo preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of institutional investor relations, alternative investment strategies, and competitive positioning in public markets.
  • Skills & Attributes: Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset in fast-paced environments.
