Job Overview – Investment Operations Manager
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Operations Manager in New York, NY for our client, supporting investment reporting, portfolio operations, data management, and operational initiatives within a fast-paced alternative investment environment. This role will partner closely with investment, finance, operations, and technology teams to support reporting processes, operational infrastructure, and workflow optimization across the platform. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, investment operations experience, and exposure to reporting systems, operational platforms, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities as the Investment Operations Manager:
- Reporting & Analytics: Support recurring reporting, dashboard maintenance, financial analysis, and operational reporting activities across investment and business operations.
- Data Management: Maintain and organize financial, operational, and performance-related data to support reporting accuracy and business insights.
- Investment Platform Support: Assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of proprietary investment operations and deal intelligence platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with investment, finance, technology, and portfolio company teams to support reporting processes, investment tracking, and operational initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Research and evaluate AI tools, workflow automation technologies, and operational enhancements to improve investment operations and reporting efficiency.
- Testing & Documentation: Support platform testing, workflow validation, user documentation, onboarding materials, and training resources related to investment operations systems.
Qualifications for the Investment Operations Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience within investment operations, portfolio reporting, transaction advisory, private equity operations, or financial advisory environments is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting private equity, alternative investments, portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, or investment operations functions is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, while experience with reporting systems, operational platforms, and data management tools is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, communication abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
