Job Overview – Investment Operations Manager
Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000/year

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Operations Manager in Boston, MA for our client, supporting trade operations, treasury, and liquidity management across public and alternative investment portfolios. In this in-office role, you will oversee investment execution workflows, cash and liquidity planning, and investment documentation while strengthening operational controls. You will partner closely with investment teams, compliance, and senior leadership to drive accuracy, efficiency, and effective risk management.
Responsibilities as the Investment Operations Manager:
- Investment Execution & Settlement: Manage the full lifecycle of investment execution across public and alternative asset classes, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant settlement.
- Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Direct daily cash movements, capital calls, and distributions across multi-currency portfolios while maintaining accurate liquidity forecasts.
- Trade & Cash Reporting: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly trade and cash reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Alternative Investment Operations: Support alternative investment activity by overseeing operational requirements tied to fund terms, liquidity provisions, and transaction processes.
- Treasury Systems & Controls: Lead treasury operations, including system administration, process improvements, and adherence to internal controls, risk management, and data protection standards.
Qualifications for the Investment Operations Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in investment, trade, or treasury operations within an OCIO, asset management, hedge fund, or institutional investment environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of alternative investments, public markets, multi-currency portfolios, and trading and cash management regulations.
- Technical Skills: Experience using Bloomberg (including trade execution functionality), custodian portals, and treasury or investment operations systems.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead teams and manage complex workflows.
