Job Overview – Investment Operations Associate
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Operations Associate in Boston, MA for our client, supporting investment operations, trade support, cash management, and financial reporting activities within an institutional investment environment. This role focuses on transaction processing, reconciliation, operational oversight, and liquidity management while partnering with internal stakeholders across finance and operations. The position offers broad exposure to investment operations, financial markets, and portfolio administration within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities as the Investment Operations Associate:
- Investment Execution: Support investment transactions, documentation, and operational processing across multiple asset classes.
- Treasury Operations: Execute cash movements, funding transactions, and related settlement activities.
- Cash Management: Monitor liquidity positions, reconcile cash balances, and support cash forecasting activities across multiple portfolios and currencies.
- Operations Oversight: Coordinate investment execution workflows, maintain transaction records, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and investment deadlines.
- Portfolio Support: Track capital activity, support portfolio reporting, and assist with operational oversight of public and private market investments.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational efficiencies, support workflow enhancements, and participate in strategic projects across investment operations and treasury functions.
Qualifications for the Investment Operations Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in investment operations, trade operations, treasury, fund operations, or related financial services functions is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to investment management, financial services, or institutional investment environments is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required, and experience with Bloomberg, custodian platforms, treasury systems, or investment operations technology is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset are required.
