Job Overview – Investment Banking Associate
Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000/year + bonus
Location: Conshohocken, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Banking Associate in Conshohocken, PA for our client, supporting middle market mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to live deals while working closely with senior investment banking professionals across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have prior investment banking or transaction advisory experience and be looking to build a long-term career in investment banking with strong exposure to private equity transactions.
Responsibilities as the Investment Banking Associate:
- Transaction Execution: Support mergers and acquisitions by managing due diligence, coordinating deal timelines, and assisting with transaction execution from start to finish.
- Financial Analysis: Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials using methodologies such as DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and LBO analysis.
- Client Deliverables: Prepare confidential information memoranda, presentations, pitch materials, and other client-facing documents for strategic transactions.
- Research & Market Analysis: Conduct industry, company, and market research to support client engagements, valuation analyses, and business development initiatives.
- Deal Coordination: Collaborate with senior bankers, clients, legal advisors, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of live transactions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing investment banking team.
Qualifications for the Investment Banking Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required. MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, private equity, or transaction services experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, valuation, or lower middle market transactions is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling is required. Experience performing DCF, LBO, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple live transactions, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
