Job Overview – Investment Banking Analyst:
Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000/year + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst in Montgomery County, PA, for our client. This in-office role supports M&A and capital-raising transactions through valuation analysis, financial modeling, and preparation of CIMs and pitch decks. You will assist with due diligence, perform in-depth industry research, and collaborate with senior bankers to execute deals. Ideal candidates have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of corporate finance, and professional ties to the Greater Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities as the Investment Banking Analyst:
- Valuation & Modeling: Perform valuation analyses and build detailed financial models (three-statement, LBO, mergers, bolt-on acquisitions) to support transaction decision-making.
- Industry & Company Research: Conduct in-depth industry and company research to generate strategic insights and support deal execution.
- Client Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentation materials for client assignments, new business development, and strategic engagements.
- Due Diligence Support: Assist in due diligence processes by analyzing client and target financials and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Transaction Coordination: Collaborate with deal team members across departments to manage workflow and ensure timely execution of M&A activities.
Qualifications for the Investment Banking Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 1-2 years in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting with a focus on valuation or due diligence.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial statements, and transaction processes across M&A or capital markets.
- Skills & Attributes: Exceptional quantitative aptitude, strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Location Preference: Must have strong professional ties to the Greater Philadelphia area.
