Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Join our client as an Investment Analyst (Private Equity) in Stamford, CT (Hybrid), focusing on LP-led secondary transactions across the private equity landscape. This role involves building financial models, conducting due diligence and market research, and presenting investment analyses to the Investment Committee. Ideal candidates come from investment banking, consulting, or asset management with strong skills in valuation, forecasting, and capital structures.

Responsibilities as the Investment Analyst:

  • Transaction Analysis: Conduct valuations, financial modeling, and due diligence for secondary private equity deals.
  • Deal Support: Assist with structuring, negotiations, and execution of transaction documentation.
  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends, fund performance, and macroeconomic factors to inform investment decisions.
  • Investment Committee Prep: Draft investment memos and support presentations for internal decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Join meetings with fund managers, intermediaries, and LPs to assess opportunities.
  • Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain deal tracking, support investor reporting, and prepare marketing materials.

Qualifications for the Investment Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in investment banking, private equity, valuation advisory, transaction services, or consulting, with hands-on experience in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with private equity or investment analytics tools.
  • Skills & Attributes: Analytical and detail-oriented with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong sense of ownership.
